Module 1 opens today and it will close on Monday, February 16, 2015.
This three week module will cover the psychological development of children and adolescents. We will be covering the following:
By the end of this module, you should have a deep understanding of the developmental psychology in children and adolescents according to the psychologists and their theories above. You should be able to compare the theories and apply the theories. In addition to journal assignments on each theorists and their theories, you will have to complete a team project for this module.
Keep in mind that everything for this module is due on February 16. The course will guide you through notes during the classroom portion and will offer suggested deadlines to help keep you on track. The expectation is for you to efficiently work during lab time and to also put in work outside of class. I highly recommend that you meet with your team and outline the project as soon as you are able and set specific meeting dates during class lab time to ensure that you get it completed.
This first module will be the most difficult as everyone is new to this system. Keep a positive mindset as we go through this together. Make sure you come prepared with your headphones and whatever material you need.
