Tech Tuesday #2: Voki

Avatars are graphical representations of people that can be created on the computer. There are many games and other technological avenues for creating avatars. For this Tech Tuesday Task, you will be creating a speaking avatar via Voki.
Voki is a free web service that allows you to create customized avatars. You will create an avatar that resembles one of the psychologists we learned about in Module 1. Have them introduce who they are, what they are known for, and their contribution to the field of psychology. Choose one of the available voices and upon finishing your avatar you will get the link to post your avatar. Create another avatar that most closely resembles you and have them introduce who you are (using your blogroll name). Have your avatar share what you have planned for mid-winter break and spring break. Post both avatars side by side and include a write up about what you thought about this tech tool, its ease/difficulty of use, how it can be used in a classroom setting, and your general opinion about Voki. Once you have created your avatar, publish it and you will see something similar to the image on your right. Follow the directions to post your Voki Avatars on your site:
